We are organising a Fundraising Event to help the boys achieve their target of raising £10,000 for TEACH. Every penny we raise will go directly to the charity – they boys have funded their trip entirely on their own, with a few very welcome donations from family to help them on their way, but this event is entirely to add funds to their Virgin Giving Account which goes directly to the charity! So if you need something to start off your weekend on Thursday 29th November then this is it!
So, what does it entail? Well, we have 2 live bands, ‘Static Kill’ who play legendary punk and ‘The Steve Naylor Band’ who do both classic and modern rock covers. We are also holding a charity auction of sporting memorabilia and a raffle with some exciting prizes. We’ll be having a live Skype link with the boys, Chris and Stu, on the big screen so if you’ve got any burning questions about their epic journey this is the time to ask! and ……….. drum roll please, there will be a local sporting hero on the night to do a Q&A for all you sporting fans. What value for money whilst having a good time and giving to charity, simples!!

Myself (Tracey, mum) and Pete (Dad) have been furiously phoning round our friends and family getting everyone to join in so that the evening is a success so please, please come along and support the enormous effort the boys are putting themselves through. The least we can do is have a fun night in the warmth of a cosy bar with live music whilst the boys slog away in below zero temperatures all in the name of Time to Educate Africa’s Children……… See you all there 🙂 X
